Star Trek Online
I finally caved in an bought an MMO. I'm almost at my Captain level ship and loving it. Anyone else playing Star Trek Online?

played beta, was fun, would have liked it better if sector space was persistent, open instancing it breaks immersion. what type for ships you go with? i went escorts, but never got beyond tier 2 before beta ended. but man i was rocking with the phaser cannons

Yea, hopefully they will fix up sector space down the road. Ended up just going solo because people I was teamed up with sucked. I'm sticking with cruiser all the way, but will make a science and escort character when I level out my current character.

battle cruisers for tier 5 look fun. but i would have loved to get a defiant class, which is tier 4 i think. science vessels are awesome on your team, i was taking on 3 negh'vars + escorts in an open mission with a science vessel keeping my shields and hull up. if they put it on sale, i might just pick it up.

Well, I've maxed out at Rear Admiral 5 (at least until they release more late game content). Anyone part of a good guild that has an STO branch?
