XBox 360
Just wondering if anyone watched that MTV thing on the new XBox. Saw it and I must say it was probably the most uninformative 30 minutes of my life. Mainly I want to know if anyone else was suckered into it (really me and my buddies figured it was just as good as anything else that was one at 12:30am)...

i don't get mtv, but i think the show will be aired on ctv tonight at 12:30, so i'll probably check it out

Yeah thats what I watched it on, my buddies have digital cable so we were joking about watching three more times as they have all the ctv channels across Canada, lol.

This isnt going to be some much of "bringing gaming to the masees" like some sites have been buzzing about. What i think 360 will do is finally bring online gaming to the masses.
Its not going to be a raphics revolution, or some sort of super console, its just going to make online gaming fun, accessible and open to all. My only problem with the 360 is that I dislike consoles because of the lack of multifunctionality (ie a PC) and i dislike controllers. Otherwise it looks like a promising system. Though im not sure about the beige color.... hmmm, Id rather have an all black or all silver.... matches those $2000 TV's they want you to buy

well color would be easy to change, they been saying for a while now you will be able to buy different color and styles of the outer casing. and no doubt there will be even more mods ppl will figure out
personally i lost intrest in consoles after snes, but its intresting to see what each new console brings.

they had a guy on there doing a pimp my ride thing on the old xbox, they had one that was pretty cool, took a laptop lcd, attached it to the xbox, folded up and down like a laptop screen , so you had the screen and console in one place

I'm pretty much on the same page as LoD with the Xbox 360...I just watched a thing on Gamespot talking about it and the console has lots of nice hardware but all it will do is just making online gaming fun and easier for people all around.
I'll play the system if one of my friends get it...but other then that I'm not going to spend money on consoles.

i might get the xbox 360 but only after it has come out, and people have tested it to see if it is any good, the only reason i would have it would be for the wife to play on while i use the pc, i would use it as a bargaining tool with the wife so i could spend loads of dosh on pc parts.....
